Well this weekend was our final race of our motorcycle series. And boy was it a busy one! Saturday started off slow and I was able to hang out with some of my friends there and have some drinks. We had a barbecue in the pits that night to celebrate the arrival of our friends from Hawaii, whom had just come out to race their first race with us this weekend! It was a fun night!
Sunday however was not quite as slow and enjoyable LOL I woke up at 8 am to someone knocking on the door of the motorhome asking for Snapple and to buy some raffle tickets. We were raffling off a motorcycle on Sunday and they couldn’t wait to buy tickets LOL And the day continued being hectic from the minute I sold those tickets to the end of the day at 6 pm! I couldn’t sell tickets fast enough… quite a few times during the day I ran out of tickets… and quickly had to make up some more booklets. I had two friends who came down to visit and say hello, and they ended up staying and working just to help me out LOL
It was a very successful weekend and I can’t complain about that in this bad economy! But we are pretty exhausted! Hard to stay awake… we’ve been having naps cause our eyes just won’t stay open LOL We’re going to try to watch a movie tonight, but I have a feeling… we may just fall asleep instead LOL
