I love Christmas trees! I have always wanted a big full xmas tree, but for one reason or another (cats were too young, we lived in an apartment, were too busy, etc.) I have never got one. The last tree we had was in our apartment about 5 years ago, and it was a cute 2 foot tall live one that hubby surprised me with a couple days before Christmas. Well this year, since we are going to have a full house of 15 friends and family, I went out and bought the tree I’ve always wanted. Its a 7.5 foot Grand Fir, and its so beautiful! I wasn’t expecting it to take as long as it did… three hours just to set the tree up… an hour for lights… and another hour or so for the ornaments… but now that its finished, every time I look at it, it makes me smile

Very pretty tree, Faith. I love seeing them decorated so that you can actually see the tree. I feel that so many people put way too much on the tree and hide the natural beauty of the tree itself. I miss having one myself as I love the smell it brings to the house, the warmth of just having it there and the added beauty of the decorations. I just don’t have a place I can put up one though.
