So last night my baby boy Rafiki didn’t come home like he normally does 
I didn’t worry too much about it as he has done it before. But I expected to wake up and find him home as of this morning. Still no sign of him Now it’s 8 pm a day later… I’ve put signs up around the neighborhood, called the local animal hospitals, walked the neighborhood, talked to the neighbors and put up lost pet ads online.
I’m trying not to worry… but as each hour passes… the knot sinks lower in my stomach.
I know cats are free ranging animals and sometimes go on exploring adventures every now and then… so I’m hoping that is the case. Or that he has accidentally gotten locked in someone’s garage and he will get out the next time they open the door…
Fingers crossed my baby boy returns safely home!
Oh no! I hope he comes home soon! Maybe he’s just got that wandering feeling. Is he fixed?
Yes he is fixed. He had lost his collar earlier and the neighbor across the street has found that in her backyard. All I can think of is he is so sweet and lovable that someone or some kid has taken him in. But as soon as they relax their watch and a door opens, he will be gone and hopefully home!
