Holiday Traditions…

I’m curious to know if you have any holiday traditions that you do every year or that you started this year and hope to continue for many more years after this?  It doesn’t matter what holiday you celebrate, I’d love to hear what you do with your family and friends.

One thing that we have always done is to open up one gift on Christmas Eve and to enjoy spending time together that night.  Usually we watch a movie, sometimes holiday themed, sometimes any movie we want to see.  It’s always a nice and quiet evening spent at home or with a few close friends or family.

One thing that I miss doing is when I lived inTucson, there was a neighborhood that was required to decorate for the month of December.  There was a company that would give hay rides through the neighborhood and we’d drink hot chocolate afterwards.  It was very fun and beautiful…  I wish there was something like that here in Phoenix…
