They do tax luxury goods such as chocolate, cigarettes and alcohol, but they do not tax fruit, vegetables, bread etc. I'm appalled that the US would do this to their citizens, didn't the US just send a gazillion dollars worth of food to Haiti for free? But now they're going to tax their own populace to buy the food they need to live. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
