Bittersweet Holiday

First I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hoping you’re able to spend it with everyone you love! I’m having a bittersweet moment at my house… my sister is going to Tucson to spend it with my Mom and Jack and I are spending our first ever Thanksgiving alone together at home. I’m really looking forward to the quiet times, no drama, relaxing, spending all day in our pj’s. But I’m also a bit down knowing that my sister will be moving back to my Mom’s at Christmas. I feel she’s making a big mistake and is moving for the wrong reason. She says she misses her boyfriend and her friends down there. So she is basically leaving the only stable quiet and safe place she has ever known, and going back to the chaotic house of my Mom. I really hope things turn out for the best and she’s able to remember the lessons we taught her and keep her life on the straight and narrow…

So let’s all be thankful for the good things we have in our life and enjoy the company of the ones we love!

xoxo
